The fatal collision occurred around 9:10 p.m. on Town Farm Road, near the entrance to Grassmere Country Club. According to Enfield police, Martinez-Martinez was riding his motorcycle when he collided with a pickup truck driven by a 78-year-old Enfield man. Emergency responders transported Martinez-Martinez to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was unharmed. The incident is currently under investigation by the Metro Traffic Services regional crash team.
